Colegio San Carlos, Bogota Colombia – From 2004 to the present, counseled
junior and senior year students seeking admission to U. S. colleges and universities. The counseling program has directed students to such schools as Notre Dame, Florida Institute of Technology, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, the University of Arizona, Pennsylvania State University, and Vanderbilt University. Most of the students attending these and other U.S. colleges and universities are seeking degree programs not available in Colombia, such as aerospace engineering. Almost all of the successful applicants received significant scholarship offers.
SECONDARY SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Colegio San Carlos, Bogota Colombia – From 1998 through 2003 taught English as a Second Language (ESL) to sophomores and seniors. This included developing methods of instruction, annual objectives, and delivering the instruction. Also counseled seniors in winning scholarships in U.S. colleges and universities.

Kearney High School, Rochester, New York – From 1973 through 1979 taught U.S. and British literature, grammar and composition, and writing fundamentals. Also taught a program on film and television production.

Regis High School, New York, New York – From 1971 through 1972 taught courses on literary forms, British literature, and a program on the contemporary novel. Also taught grammar, syntax, writing skills, and oratorical speaking.
UNIVERSITY LEVEL EXPERIENCE

Colombian School of Engineering, Bogota, Colombia – From 2001 through 2002
taught English as a Second Language in the Humanities and Language
Department. Also taught English for International Communications.
INDUSTRIAL EDUCATION
Potomac Electric Power Company, Washington, D.C. – from 1984 through 1996
managed the Occupational Training Program for 800 employees in the Customer Service Division. This supported the introduction of new software for the IBM accounts receivable system, energy management rebates, and customer electric installation. Managed a staff of eight employees and an annual budget of $485,000.

Nuclear Utility Services (NUS), A Halliburton Energy Services Company, Gaithersburg, Maryland – From 1982 through 1984 served as a Management Consultant, supervising computer training for Houston Power and Light’s nuclear power construction program. For the U.S. Department of Energy provided on-site training for the Occupational Health and Safety Tracking System at the Coal Research Center in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.

In 1981 produced corporate television programs for broadcast to AT&T’s 14,000 nationwide offices.

City of Rochester, Rochester, New York – From 1980 through 1981 worked as a Systems Analyst developing an indexing system for all municipal engineering records and converting them to computer accessed micrographics.
